Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including month/year-end close processes for client engagements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows).
- Review work of Staff Accountants (2-3 direct reports).
- Implement and maintain accounting controls and best practices.
- Lead client meetings to present financial results and recommendations.
- Research technical accounting issues and draft position papers.
- Optimize client accounting processes through technology integration.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.- CPA certification (active).
- 4+ years public accounting experience.
- Expertise in GAAP financial reporting.
Preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Exro.
- Client-facing advisory experience.
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Experience mentoring junior staff.
